5 days till the Anchor is raised, 5 days till the Thumb begins to move. In 30 days a smidgen of this journey has been covered, from Vladivostok to Busan/South Korea. A staggered, stagnant Thumb has been born out of frustration. The Ocean breeze should blow away any lingering stench of despair from such lack of movement. It was a tough stint here in Busan and there is still a lot for both The Magic Thumb and Maersk to do to enable this Pacific crossing. Again it was phone calls and emails getting flung left right and centre, every one, thing and detail has to be in place...as did the day go.
Went for a unique bite to eat in the evening.
In Korea they like a bit of Dog on the menu...a native Palmate took me down a pokey little alleyway to an eatery where Dog Soup is dish of the day.
Certainly not my cup of tea, I politely left as the locals all had a laugh at my obvious lack of enthusiasm for the place.
