Day 84 - George was another non stopper, en route we visited his mothers little town afoot an enormous snow capped mountain, absolutely stunning settings, the camera caught a glorious rainbow, pot of gold style shining right on it. We were eventually dropped off at a gas station at 5am, unbeknown to us at the time all roads from here would take us way off track...eventually and after 7 painful hours of Thumb time we had to back track 80km back the way we came, thankfully Roberto was the man who stepped in. A deeply sound character who's kind affection took him way out if his way to put the Thumb back on track...dropping us off at a town Winding down from some large festivities...the name of I didn't catch, mannequin super Hero's and wrestling figures hung everywhere as we finally found the road out of there and started walking. Marco the legend was next to share his soundness with the thumb, pulling 2 pick ups laden with quad bikes, ovens and a whole manner of top stuff, with a BMW jammed in amongst it all we squeezed into his truck and forged on. Fatigue was certainly creeping in...we parked up by a wind farm around midnight under a clear night sky. Crawled into the BMW in the truck, quilts and pillows were provided and into the land of nod we glided.
